Privacy Policy

TractionBooster (“we”, “us”) is a Reddit lead generation tool operated by an independent founder based in Spain (European Union), available at www.tractionbooster.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what your rights are.

Data we collect

  • Account data. Your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the name and avatar Google shares with us. Passwords are handled and stored (hashed) by our authentication provider, Supabase; we never see them in plain text.
  • Anonymous sessions. Some features work before you create an account, using a temporary anonymous session. Anonymous accounts and their data are automatically deleted after 7 days if you don’t register.
  • Product data you give us. The product URL you submit and the public content of that page, which we analyze to build your campaigns and reports.
  • Usage data. Campaigns, leads, generated drafts, and the actions you record in the app.
  • Payment data. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers; we only store your subscription status.
  • Public Reddit content. We process publicly available Reddit posts and comments to find conversations relevant to your product. We do not access private Reddit data.
  • Directory analytics. If you visit a startup listing page, we count the view using a one-way hash of your IP address so repeat views aren’t double-counted. The raw IP is not stored.

How we use it

  • To provide the service: analyzing your product, finding relevant Reddit conversations, and generating drafts.
  • To send you transactional and product emails (e.g. your weekly traction report). Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • To bill paid subscriptions through Stripe.
  • To measure aggregate site usage with Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track you across sites.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.

AI processing

Parts of the service use large language models (Anthropic Claude) to analyze your product page, score Reddit conversations, and generate drafts. The content sent for processing is your submitted product information and public Reddit content — not your account credentials or payment data.

Service providers

We rely on a small set of processors to run the service: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting and cookieless analytics), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), and Anthropic (AI processing). Each receives only the data needed for its function.

Optional integrations

If you connect an X (Twitter) account to auto-publish posts, we store the OAuth tokens needed to publish on your behalf. You can disconnect at any time, which revokes our access.

Data retention

We keep your data while your account exists. Anonymous accounts are purged after 7 days. If you delete your account or ask us to, we delete your personal data, except what we must keep for legal or accounting reasons (e.g. Stripe invoices).

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at arnau.mateu.dev@gmail.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD).

Cookies

We use only essential cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (like theme). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you by email.
